ADHD + EXERCISE

Exercise often focuses on achieving health goals or improving well-being, but it can do more than that. BIOME movement provides practical advice, suggestions and guidance on ADHD-friendly exercise. The approach includes information on how to get started exercising, how to make exercise fun and engaging, and how to make it a regular part of your life.

BIOME movement is an approach to exercise designed around ADHD

"Hi! I am Helen. I love moving. In fact, I process my life through movement. As an ADHDer, I work through life and its many challenges through exercise and physical activity. Now it is time to share this untapped tool. Exercise can help us live a fuller, more balanced life."

RESEARCH + EVIDENCE

Helen gained her PhD in public health and has become an expert in creating evidence to guide health decisions about what works, for whom, and why. She focuses on helping people with different viewpoints work together. As someone with ADHD, Helen cares deeply about making sure everyone’s voice is heard and that health evidence reflects a wide range of perspectives, not just those of academics or government decision-makers.

Helen uses her research skills in BIOME movement, where she incorporates evidence-based recommendations into the exercises on the @BIOMEmovement channel. She is also actively involved in researching ADHD and exercise ... more of this to come.
